The Chamber’s 2025 Community Betterment Award recognizes something incredibly important — the role that businesses and organizations play in shaping not just our economy, but the quality of life in our community.

Jim Millan, John Zimmer, and Shelby Terrill accept the Community Betterment Award on behalf of HNB Bank.
This award is presented to a business, organization, or individual that contributes to the betterment of Hannibal by encouraging community involvement, supporting organizations, and helping make Hannibal a better place to live, work, and visit.
And this year’s recipient truly reflects that commitment.
When we think about community betterment, we often think about growth.
New spaces.
New investment.
Progress that moves a community forward.
And this organization has made that kind of impact in a very visible way.
With a new flagship facility here in Hannibal, a new building in Palmyra . . .
And the thoughtful renovation of their historic downtown façade on Main Street. In all projects, they put an emphasis on working with local contractors, increasing the impact of the investment by keeping that investment flowing through our local economy.
They are not only growing — they are contributing.
Not only expanding — but strengthening the communities they serve.
For the Hannibal Chamber’s 2025 Community Betterment award, we recognize an organization that continues to invest in our region. Congratulations to HNB Bank.
